John Cusimano

John Cusimano serves as Director of Risk Management for Coastal Ridge. In his role, John is responsible for the global risk management program which includes placing insurance policies for Coastal Ridge and all of the multifamily and student housing properties in Coastal Ridge’s portfolio. He also oversees claims handling, loss control/mitigation, and other various risk management duties. Prior to joining Coastal Ridge, John spent nearly a decade in Risk Management at American Campus Communities, at the time the largest publicly traded Student Housing REIT. A graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, John resides in the Austin, TX metro area.
